Coffee Shop at McPhaidin Library, Stonehill College

Brockton Massachusetts

Two very different activities had to live in the same room within the library. Blues and greens were used on spaces where calm conversation takes place, such as booth area and tables.

Existing piece of millwork was re-used and re-finished with plastic laminate and black accent solid surface counter top.

Shades of oranges and more vibrant colors where  used on the more noisy area where food and coffee and cashier takes place.
